Policies

The rules of the works

Short, hand-typed, and enforced with a smile. The legal version is that this is a demonstration site and nothing here is for sale, but the rules are real to us anyway.

Orders & kites

Every kite is test-flown before it ships. If it doesn't fly straight it doesn't ship; there is no exception, including the one you're about to propose. Kites carry a two-year sewing guarantee: any seam we made, we re-sew free.

Workshop bookings

Seats are held by email and confirmed the Thursday before. Full refund to 48 hours; after that your seat transfers to a friend. Under-16s fly with an adult at the wall.

Privacy & cookies

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or trackers. The only thing stored is your theme choice in your own browser's local storage (key kw-theme); it never leaves your device, and clearing your browser data clears it. No personal data is collected, because no data is asked for.

The Force 7 rule

When the wind reaches Force 7, the shop closes and everyone goes flying. This policy outranks all others, including the sign on the door, which says the same thing.
